NEXT-GENERATION CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES (SS3)
The escalating global energy crisis and the growing demand for sustainable power solutions have intensified the search for advanced energy systems and efficient power-generation technologies. Meeting future energy needs requires the development of novel materials and innovative designs that enable both fundamental understanding and practical implementation of cutting-edge energy devices.
This special session aims to provide a platform for researchers to share insights, ideas, and scientific advancements related to emerging energy materials and characterization techniques. We especially encourage contributions focused on clean and next-generation energy technologies, including fuel cells, solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, and other energy-conversion or storage systems. Research on oxygen-carrier materials for chemical-looping applications is also welcomed.
We invite researchers, early-career scientists, and established experts in nanomaterials and clean energy technologies to submit their original research articles and review papers for inclusion in the special session “Next-Generation Clean Energy Technologies.” This session will create an opportunity to present recent findings and engage in scientific exchange at an international forum.
Topics of Interest:
- Catalysts, electrocatalysts, and photocatalytic materials
- Nano-enabled energy materials for next-generation devices
- Materials for energy-storage systems (batteries, supercapacitors)
- New generation fuel-cell materials (SOFC, PEM, AFC, biofuel cells)
- Oxygen-carrier materials for chemical-looping technologies
