SPECIAL SESSION 13
ELECTROMAGNETIC METAMATERIALS: FROM THEORY AND COMPUTATION TO APPLICATIONS (SS13)
This special session will explore the latest developments in electromagnetic metamaterials and metasurfaces, spanning fundamental theory, advanced computational methods, and diverse real-world applications. It will unite researchers working from RF to optical frequencies, focusing on how engineered subwavelength structures can shape and control electromagnetic wave behaviour in unprecedented ways. Topics will include modelling, fabrication, characterisation, and integration of meta materials for applications in sensing, imaging, communications, and energy harvesting.
Keywords: metamaterials, metasurfaces, computational electromagnetics, nanophotonics, reconfigurable devices, nanoengineering, wave–matter interaction, energy harvesting.
